May 2025 it all began. Cudi released the single Neverland and shortly after there is an announcement of a short film. The film in question was premiered at Tribeca Film Festival in June 2025.

Patiently waiting for this to drop. when? where? how?

Well at midnight Oct 31 2025 … we got it!

Long anticipated by cud lifers worldwide, we get an 11 min flim/music video. Giving us visuals to the lyrics we all been singing for months now.

I honestly wanted it to be a film film like MANIAC but ill take it. I like the song a lot so when I see how the visuals were put together to marry it, fire!

This project is a masterclass in collaboration, reuniting Cudi (Scott Mescudi) with T.I. West, the acclaimed director behind modern horror classics like the X trilogy and V/H/S. The horror pedigree doesn’t stop there; the film was also produced by Jordan Peele’s Monkeypaw Productions, instantly lending massive creative weight to the 11-minute short.

The cast is stacked, starring Scott Mescudi and Kiernan Shipka (Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, Longlegs) as the central vampire couple. The ensemble is rounded out by familiar faces from the horror and film world, including Haley Joel Osment (Tusk), Cary Elwes (Saw), and Brittany Snow—marking an on-screen reunion for Mescudi and Snow who co-starred in West’s X.

A 200 yr old vamp has a new love interest and take her on her first feed. She is nervous, until she isn’t. (insert sinister grin) They are inconspicuous at the beginning and by then end they don’t have a single care and dont hide from the population. Bloody mouths, they are living their best life no matter who sees.

Gripe time!

The high-value, exclusive nature of the content is great for Amazon, but it certainly forces “Cud Lifers” to jump through hoops just to see the highly anticipated drop. Them teeth! —a small visual gripe in an otherwise stunning piece of cinematic horror.

Overall, “Neverland” is a major win, cementing Cudi’s ongoing commitment to pushing boundaries in both music and film. For horror fans and Cudi fans alike, it’s the perfect Halloween gift.
