We have a couple, Tim and Millie. Boyfriend and girlfriend who are on the cusp of losing each other. Tim is a semi successful musician and Millie is a teacher. She gets an job opportunity but it’s hours outside the city but Tim decides to make the move.

While there, they are trying to find ways to get closer. They have become distant and Tim’s past trauma doesn’t help. NIghtmares of seeing his mom in bed laying next to his dead father.

An attempt to reconnect, they go hiking. They start to see these small bells in trees and follow the path. It begins to storm out of no where. Tim ends up falling into a hole, pulling Millie down with him. The cave is ominous and weird. There are structures and item merged with the earth. While in there they are thirsty and have the WONDERFUL idea to drink from this well that looks like a butthole. Something out of an aliens movie. Xenomorph lair. They spend the night and when they wake up their leg started to fuse together. They painfully pull it apart leaving a nasty mark.

The movie goes on and Tim is having these experiences where he loses control of his body. He doesn’t know why but it’s directly related to the fact that Millie is away from him. He is losing his mind over it and what’s worse, Millie doesn’t believe him. This is putting a deeper rift in their relationship. This continues and get worse until these experiences start with Millie. Both of their conditions are deteriorating and see no happy ending. What ever is inside of them will stop at nothing to become whole again.

Why this movie is fire as fuck!

The visuals are DISTURBING. Throughout the movie we don’t get jump scares and all that BS. The situations are very uncomfortable and hard to look at. The mom at night, the eating of hair. Skin fusing and being cut apart. The lack of self control and the finale fuse. Shout out to director Michael Shanks for giving us this gem.

2025 with Bring Her Back and Together is dawning a new age in ‘Horror’. I am geeked for other directors to take not and continue to pave this path. And as if I haven’t already convinced you, the Spice Girls are featured too! LOL
