Picks up exactly where the 1 st movie left off. Few months after the banishment of Booker and entering an agreement with Copely to help them move and execute missions secretly. Movie opens with the gang
in an active mission. It looks like they’re riding on high; days couldn’t be better. A part that we left off at the end of the 1 st movie was Quynh showing up at Booker’s apartment in Paris. This is the friend of Andy
who was thrown in the ocean to drown for 500 years. When I saw this, I knew it was about to be up! Andy is still mortal so the gang protect her but still allow her to lead as she had for centuries. The movie moves along until we see more of what Quynh’s motives are. She is accompanied by a new character to the series, Discord, played by Uma Thurman. This is where the story evolves. See we thought Andy was
the oldest but we find that Discord is. She was there when Quynh was sentenced to death. We also meet another friend of Andy’s, Tuah, played by Henry Golding. He asked to not be mentioned
throughout the ages and stay anonymous. But he brings knowledge to bridge the gap between Nile and Discord.

Turns out, Nile is the last of the immortals and she has the power to essentially kill immortals. If she is to harm an immortal, then she takes their ability away. You can still lose the ability over time, but Nile is the fast track to death. In the 1st movie Nile shot Andy, and that’s all it takes. Even if it’s in friendly sparring. If Nile hurts you, it’s a wrap. Tuah believes that Discord is here to end all the immortals and have her be the only one. She is using Quynh’s rage to seek out Andy and her gang. Behind the scenes she is plotting to get rid of them all. Tuah also reveals that one can regain their immortal ability if another immortal willingly gives up theirs. Booker is now back with them but still has guilt about betraying Andy. He sets up a sparring session with Nile with the intentions of letting Nile hurt him to give Andy her ability back. He does. NO HESITATION! The effect is immediate. Booker was not healing from the injury but hid it well.

Later we get the first interaction between Andy and Quynh after 500 years. There was no love for Andy.
COMMENCE THE ASS WHOOPIN!
They was pretty evenly matched for real and Andy didn’t want to hurt
her. Time goes by while Andy and company try to figure out the a plan to stop Discord. The final showdown happens, and the gang are bested. Nile and Quynh fight, and Nile rids her of immortality. The 2 guys, Nicky and Joe, are captured. Booker sacrifices himself for Andy and that’s when she realizes she is immortal again. Andy finds Quynh and see she is about to blow the whole place off the map abut Andy convinces her not to. Andy finds Discord outside but she gets away on a heli. When an attempt to kill Andry fails, Discord comes back to handle it herself. Kill Bill Vs The Old Guard. I feel like Uma had a great time using a sword again. Discord whooped Andy’s ass and Andy realized Discord was NOT IMMORTAL ANYMORE! Her plan is to suck the life force out of the other ones to make her immortal again. No clue how that process will work but she got away so we get set up with a part 3. At the end we see Andy and Quynh united again and ready to go kick some ass.

Where I think the movie lacked was the CGI usage and the whole feel of it all wasn’t true to the original. The 1st was rawer and rougher and edgy. Andy had a no fucks given attitude and mindset. Not saying
she had to stay mad in the second but that Aura she had made her badass and sexy AF all at the same time. Charlize is a glass of water I would refill for life! Mmmmmm. But yea, part 2 was a little too bubbly
for me. It wasn’t a bad movie, a little drawn out but still entertaining. Looking forward to part 3.
