So for over 10 years now I have complied a list and been adding to; Films that are banned. In some what shape or form, somewhere, they cant be played publicly. I have a bunch I have already seen or attempted to see. Attempted meaning I was interrupted from finishing or It was a rip online and it wasn’t the complete film. I’ll make a list of ones I’ve seen already and what else in on my list to see, in another post.

A Serbian Film. Heard of it? I went down a rabbit hole circa 2013 looking for new movie stimulation. This particular one stood out the most after I read the synopsis. My son was about 1 at the time so I was super sensitive to anything negative with infants. The synopsis had mentioned it and the still photos online show a fetus. NO SIR, NOT GONNA DO IT, NOT FOR ME, this is just the one that wont get views. Fast forward 12 years and two more kids later, I said lets give it a shot.

In real time I am trying to decide if I should go play by play because I DO NOT recommend seeing this and I don’t know the guidelines on this platform…..so ill just play it safe.

I didn’t watch a preview but from my initial read, the movie is a bout a washed-up porn star. He gets an invitation to do one last film and will be blessed financially. That’s the simple version.

Quick question…Have anyone seen the movie Old Boy? Either version, Korean is the best. Well, this hints to Old Boy but 100 times worse!

Anyway, I watched the movie online so it had no subs lol but because of my extensive viewing of foreign films and just living and observing life, I could make out the atmosphere and possible conversation topics. Ill refer to the main character as “star.” Our Star is approached by a woman who he seems to know well and she tells him about this opportunity. This guy he knows, but doesn’t fair to well with, is spear heading this project. Star is reluctant but he meets with him and is promised it’s a one time deal and money will be plentiful. After a couple days to think it over he decides to do it.

It starts off uncomfortable for our Star. He isn’t given any direction on the story line or what is supposed to happen. He is just told to show up and a place and two guys with cameras are there filming and not speaking. He goes through a series of sexual acts but they aren’t enjoyable. A lot of rough actions take place as well as unwanted eyes watching the scenes.  Throughout the first few days our star is torn on whether to continue or not. After conversations with people running the show he continues to show up. Now they are drugging him to force him to comply. This concoction is a mixture of methamphetamine and Viagra basically. He is high out his mind but raged up horny as well. Things start to turn for the worse.

He’s having these episodes out in real life that he thinks is random but its all a set up. People running this are trailing him watching and manipulating his every move. Star wakes up at home disoriented, looking for wife and son, has blood all over himself and confused. He heads back to the last place he remembers and finds the tapes still there. He watches them to figure out what happened and where to go next. Umm….a lot happens on these tapes! A LOT. He watches it all and find his way to the final location where there are several dead bodies. These are the men that been filming the whole time and the camera guy that been directing it all. He watches that final tape and it was rough to say the least.

There was only one scene in the movie I refused to watch. I will be 100 with y’all, I will watch just about anything, so if there’s something I don’t, please believe you shouldn’t. Once I knew what was about to happen I skipped past it IMMEDIATELY! I cant say what happens at the end because it will give up what happens in that final warehouse scene. The movie itself would have been MORE effed up to watch if it wasn’t filmed the way it was. I couldn’t take it serious but I could at the same time. So a lot of that wild stuff wasn’t to crazy for me, mostly just thinking whomever wrote this is crazy as hell lol. But I can def see why this is regarded as the most banned movie out.

If any of y’all are up to the challenge, have at it. I would love to hear thoughts on this. I do not know anyone personally who has see this movie. I am the movie buff out of my circle and my spectrum is unmatched lol. I definitely won’t be watching this one again.
