March was kind of slow, but I took time to really get to some titles I wanted to see. I also went to school for basically the whole month. I rushed to get some titles out of the way beforehand. I was limited when I got there.

Presence was one I was looking forward to but was let down. How it was shot was impressive. Had to go look up what lens and aspect ratio they used. Don’t remember at the time of writing this lol. Kraven was mid but felt like they could of done so much better. I really liked Gladiator II. Sometimes you have that “sequel to late” situation, I thought this would be one of them, but It wasn’t.

I am a big Shia fan so I wasn’t sure if I say The Tax Collector or not but it didn’t matter. I was in the mood so I viewed. Then I came across Charlie Countryman and it had been over a decade since I saw it so I had to run that back as well. Charlie is a great movie in my eyes. Shia was really into that role. Ace Ventura is a no brainer. Got to watch when it comes on and Kill Bill falls into the same category. Kill Bill also reminded me of the O-Ren Ishii backstory and I had to drop a separate post on that. Go check it out.

The grind never stops. On to the next month!
