I’ve been trying to find the right words to describe this for a day now before I hopped on here. Trying to find comparable movies to correlate with this movie but it has been difficult.

Abigail is a 12 year old ballerina who is the daughter of a very powerful man. A team of misfits are assembled and have the mission of kidnapping this girl and holding her for ransom to the sum of 50 million dollars. Well, all that I said before is unknown to our misfits.

The execute a perfectly planned kidnapping and bring her to a house way out in the sticks. There is a man who is running the whole show and tell them to chill in the house and play babysitter until morning when they will get their cut and go on their separate ways.

Until is doesn’t…

The misfits don’t use their real names but still try to get a understanding of one another, why they took the job, etc. There is one woman designated to check on the girl and make sure she is ok. Upon doing so the girl makes a comment that send her into a state of fear. Abigail says she’s sorry for what is about to happen to her. She tells the group and they are ready to leave because they a nervous about whos daughter she is. Once the find out they said fuck this! Her dad is known to be a very dangerous man where anyone who crosses him ends up dead. They decided to stick it out and stay to get paid and go their separate ways in the house to decompress. A scream is heard and one of the women goes to check it out. She finds one of the guys with his head missing. The rest go to see what all the noise is about and the are all introduced to Abigail and in her true form…she a vampire.

The rest of the movie goes on with them trying to survive and to make matters worse, the house goes on lock down. They realize they have been led there to be in Abigail’s fun house of horror. What makes this movie worth talking about is that Abigail the vampire is unlike another vampire movie. Other vamp films, the vamps are vamps who pretends to be normal humans but with they are in true form, the behave in a stereotypical vampire way. Abigail is a normal, wild, loose cannon who happens to be a vampire. Her rage and intensity is unlike you’ve seen on screen. Her look is completely original and terrifying is a very realistic way. Even as a vamp she is still herself, she dances after raging with blood staining her face and smiling and laughing her through it all.

The sound track provides am intense atmosphere along with a strong dialogue of sarcasm and witty assholeness. Very gruesome and strong scenes of gore and bloody messes give this movie an extreme watch factor. Locked in from start to finish Abigail is the stuff of nightmares’.
